In a video message that was received by the Arabic news TV network Al-Zitgoeen this afternoon, a spokesperson has confirmed that Islamic State has claimed PPI compensation before it’s too late.

Reading out a preplanned statement, a spokesperson said: ‘We suddenly discovered that one of our senior officials had an Egg credit card in 2006, and suddenly an advert flashed up to say that the deadline for claiming PPI compensation is 29 August 2019.’

‘As he was thinking back, he remembered thinking to himself that he was technically unemployed at the time, which in turn would have invalidated the cover in the event of a claim.’

‘Therefore it was mis-sold, and he has downloaded a letter template from the Internet.’

The news comes after an ISIS training camp was uncovered close to Southend in Essex.

According to intelligence that we have seen, more than 500 people have passed through the facility before progressing to join ISIS and serve in their health and beauty or leisure and tourism divisions.
